Replacement of the illegitimate name Frondicola australicus Zhang et al. 2007, which is illegitimate because of precedence of a fungal genus name Frondicola Hyde 1992 [Frondicola K.D. Hyde, J. Linn. Soc., Bot. 110(2), 100 (1992)]. Consequently, a new species designation Frondihabitans australicus (Zhang et al. 2007) Greene et al. 2009 has been proposed by Greene et al. 2009.
