MEDIUM 136 - for Natronococcus occultus, Natrialba magadii and Halorubrum vacuolatum

- Solution 1 - M0437 400 ml
- Solution 2 - M0437 600 ml

Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes Add aseptically solutions

Solution 1 - M0437 400 ml

- Yeast extract 10 g (^{BD Difco} 212750)
- Casamino acids 7.5 g (^{Becton Dickinson} 223050)
- Tri-sodium citrate pentahydrate 3 g (^Prolabo 27 834.29)
- Potassium chloride 2 g (^Sigma P9541)
- Magnesium sulphate heptahydrate 1 g (^Merck 1.05886)
- ManganeseII chloride tetrahydrate 0.36 mg (^Prolabo 25 222.233)
- Iron (III) sulphate 50 mg (^Sigma 307718)
- Bacto Agar 20 g (^{BD Difco} 214010)
- Ultra pure water make up to 400 ml (^Millipore MilliQ)

Adjust pH to 10 + 0.2 Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes

Solution 2 - M0437 600 ml

- Sodium chloride 200 g (^{SIGMA -ALDRICH} 31434-1KG-R)
- Sodium carbonate decahydrate 50 g (^Merck 1.06391.1000)
- Ultra pure water make up to 600 ml (^Millipore MilliQ)
