Formulation of medium : 24

MEDIUM 24 - for Campylobacter concisus, C. sputorum and C. mucosalis

- Brain heart infusion agar 52 g (^{BECTON DICKINSON} 241830)
- Ultra pure water make up to 1000 ml (^Millipore MilliQ)
- Horse blood 100 ml (^BioMérieux 55 833)
- Fumaric acid solution - M0176 100 ml
- Formate solution - M00175 100 ml

Adjust pH to 7.4 + 0.2 Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes Add aseptically horse blood and solutions

Fumaric acid solution - M0176 100 ml

- Fumaric acid 6 g (^Sigma F-4633)
- Ultra pure water make up to 100 ml (^Millipore MilliQ)

Adjust pH to 7.0 + 0.2 Filter sterilize

Formate solution - M00175 100 ml

- Sodium formate 6 g (^Merck 1.06443)
- Ultra pure water make up to 100 ml (^Millipore MilliQ)

Adjust pH to 7.0 + 0.2 Filter sterilize
