MEDIUM 33 - For Flexibacter flexilis and Flexibacter elegans

- Magnesium sulphate heptahydrate 0.1 g (^Merck 1.05886)

- Calcium chloride dihydrate 0.1 g (^Merck 102378)
- Sodium glycerophosphate hexahydrate 0.1 g (^Prolabo 27 874.295)
- Mineral solution - M0181 1 ml
- Trizma hydrochloride 1 g (^Sigma T-3253)
- Casamino acids 1 g (^{Becton Dickinson} 223050)
- Glucose 1 g (^Sigma G8270)
- Ultra pure water make up to 1000 ml (^Millipore MilliQ)
- Vitamins solution - M00479 10 ml

Adjust pH to 7.5 + 0.2 Add all products except vitamins solution Autoclave at 110°C for 30 minutes Add aseptically vitamins solution

Mineral solution - M0181 1 ml

- Boric acid 2.85 g (^Prolabo 20 185.297)
- ManganeseII chloride tetrahydrate 1.8 g (^Prolabo 25 222.233)
- Iron (III) sulphate 1.36 g (^Sigma 307718)
- Copper II chloride dihydrate 26.9 mg (^Merck 2733)
- Zinc chloride 20.8 mg (^Merck 1.08816)
- Cobalt II chloride hexahydrate 40.4 mg (^Sigma C-2644)
- Sodium molybdate dihydrate 25.2 mg (^Merck 6521)
- Tartaric acid 1.77 g (^Sigma T-0375)
- Ultra pure water make up to 1000 ml (^Millipore MilliQ)

Filter sterilize

Vitamins solution - M00479 10 ml

- Thiamine hydrochloride 100 mg (^Calbiochem 5871)
- Cyanocobalamin (Vit.B12) 100 mg (^Calbiochem 6791)
- Ultra pure water make up to 100 ml (^Millipore MilliQ)
