MEDIUM 694 - for Labrys

- Yeast extract 0.5 g (^{BD Difco} 212750)
- Mannitol 10 g (^Merck 1.05982)
- Sodium chloride 0.2 g (^{SIGMA -ALDRICH} 31434-1KG-R)
- Calcium chloride dihydrate 0.2 g (^Merck 102378)
- Magnesium sulphate heptahydrate 0.1 g (^Merck 1.05886)
- Bacto Agar 15 g (^{BD Difco} 214010)
- Ultra pure water make up to 1 l (^Millipore MilliQ)
- Di Potassium monohydrogenophosphate 0.5 g (^VWR 26932.290)

pH final : 7,0 ± 0,2 Sterilization Time : 15 min Temperature : 121°C OPERATING PROCEDURE 1. Boil 800 ml of distilled water in a bécher 2. Add all products and mix until complete dissolution 3. Add distilled water until the maximum volume 4. Adjust pH 5. Split in 17 ml screw tubes, 8 ml par tube 6. Sterilize CONTROL Make a sterility test. CONSERVATION CONDITIONS Temperature : + 20 °C.
