Displaying the search results

Each product corresponding to the search criteria used is displayed on a line containing:

A rank
A checkbox for selection of the product, making it possible to apply the functions of the buttons at the bottom of the page to that particular product
The item code of the biological material
A link to the detailed catalogue data sheet for the biological material
A link to the medium data sheet for culture of the biological material
A link to the sequences data sheet displaying the sequences available for this biological material (type strains only)
A link to the images data sheet, which presents available photos for the microorganism
A "T" indicates when the biological material is the type strain of its species or subspecies
The complete name (Family, Genus, species, subspecies, name) of the biological material
The type of biological material
One or two "X" indicating that the corresponding product may only be obtained if special conditions are met, if appropriate
A "Quantity" field allowing the user to specify the quantity of product to be ordered

The number of lines displayed per page, with a default setting of 10, may be modified by means of a scroll-down list located at the top of the result list.The user can move from page to page by means of a system of arrows located at the bottom of the result list.

Manipulation of the items displayed

A combination of checkboxes and buttons makes it possible to:

display the catalogue files of several products, by clicking on the "View data sheets of selected strains" button
place the products in "Your cart" by clicking on the "Add to cart" button

Clicking on the button "Add to cart" displays a note indicating the number of products that you added to "Your cart".You can view the content of "your cart" by clicking on the link contained in this note, or by clicking on the tab titled "Your cart" located in the tab bar at the top of the page.Click on the "Mark all" button to tick the boxes of all the results and on the "Unmark all" to deselect all the results.
